The Eleanor Roosevelt Democratic Club is the official Democratic club of New York State's 74th assembly district, Part D. It is located on the east side of Manhattan, New York City and includes all or part of the neighborhoods of Gramercy Park, Kips Bay, Murray Hill, Tudor City, Turtle Bay, and Midtown East.
We typically hold one meeting on the third Thursday of each month, which are open to all members of the community. We typically welcome our elected officials, candidates for office and prominent citizens and organizations as guest speakers. We also discuss issues of concern, often passing resolutions. We also endorse candidates for office. Additionally, we hold forums, often with other Democratic clubs in the area, on topics that concern us politically and as a community.

Feruary 26: Public Advocate Special Election and start of petitioning
New Yorkers will vote to elect a candidate for Public Advocate. Polling places are open 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM. To locate your poll site or for more information: http://vote.nyc.ny.us
The date also marks the start of petitioning to collect signatures to get Democratic candidates on the ballot of the June 25 primary election. Endorsed District Leaderse and Judicial Delegates will be carried on ERDC club ballots.
March 2: Budget Forum w/ State Senator Liz Krueger
The Manhattan delegation of the State Senate will hold a Budget Forum to hear from constituents about these important issues. Anyone is welcome to offer oral or written testimony. If you would like to speak, please indicate it when you RSVP at the link below. Each speaker will have up to three (3) minutes to speak. Time limits will be strictly enforced.
