Identify, interview, endorse, and elect Democratic Candidates for local, state, and national office.
Serve our community and neighborhoods by working together with elected officials, community groups, and neighborhood associations
The Eleanor Roosevelt Democratic Club is the official Democratic club of New York State's 74th assembly district, Part D. It is located on the east side of Manhattan, New York City and includes all or part of the neighborhoods of Gramercy Park, Kips Bay, Murray Hill, Tudor City, Turtle Bay, and Midtown East.
We typically hold one meeting on the third Thursday of each month, which are open to all members of the community. We typically welcome our elected officials, candidates for office and prominent citizens and organizations as guest speakers. We also discuss issues of concern, often passing resolutions. We also endorse candidates for office. Additionally, we hold forums, often with other Democratic clubs in the area, on topics that concern us politically and as a community.
